Eating out in Thailand especially Bangkok is really fun. I like MK Restaurant so much that I decided to write this post today. No one should miss eating out in this Restaurant if they visit Thailand. There are so many outlets named MK and it is easy to find one in Bangkok. This is a "Hotpot style" eatery where a cocktail of vegetables, leaves, mushrooms, fish balls, meatballs, egg etc are added into an electric pot on the serving table, where water is boiled, to which sauces etc are added as per your choice. You can order the vegetables, leaves, mushrooms etc from the menu. After cooking you just eat the mixture in a bowl, you can use chopsticks or spoon. Cooked rice, Noodles, Dim-Sums, fresh juices, icecreams, iced tea etc are also available and all these items are delivered as quicky as possible upon order. Very efficient speedy service, staff well behaved and polite. Very neat and clean place. This eatery is very popular among Thais and the place is almost always jam-packed. In between the staff display some dance steps for a few minutes to nice music. This makes kids happy in addition to ice creams but adults also will appreciate it. Really entertaining! As you can see in the picture, at the centre on the table, there is a "Hotpot". There is also Dim-sum, a plate full of vegetables, mushrooms and leaves and a bowl of rice which I ordered. Altogether it is healthy food they have there, it is tasty too!! I didn't order ice cream instead tried Mango juice,wow...wonderful...delicious!!
One more thing...there is a funny looking tissue paper holder which kids will like, as you can see at the the far end of the table, it contains feedback forms as well, with a penholder...very thoughtful people indeed.
My plate hehehe....blanched cauliflower, string beans, young corn, chinese pechai, fried chicken and steamed fish...Note the culinary art of Thai cuisine...
