Blossoming roses of love

Continuation...

"You look like a model, Annie"...Emma smiled.

"You too"...Annie replied as she watched the beautiful lights on either side of the road as the car glided along the street. They felt comfortable and satisfied at this sudden transformation and mentally rehearsed what they had practiced the preceding weeks to act sophisticated and high class.

As the vehicle approached the well decorated entrance of the huge theater Annie opened her handbag and checked the tickets and was ready with the citizen identification. They could see a number of security guards everywhere.

At the entrance the chauffer handed over the tickets and their identification to the security and they were waved through the fast lane to the VIP entrance swiftly. The chauffer stopped the vehicle at the porch denoting VIP entrance and courteously opened the car doors.

Just like what they had seen in the movies both of them slid out of their seats smiling, clutching their handbags.

"Hello ladies....welcome....welcome"
We are honored to have you both attend this event and sure it will be a very memorable one for you two...
Thanks so much."

A very handsome man impecably dressed flanked by two beautiful ladies welcomed them. They murmured thanks and were escorted inside the huge theater complex, well carpeted and illuminated by huge chandeliers. Soft music floated in the arrival hall and everything looked fantastic and wonderful. Both of them smiled at everyone and appreciated the admiring glances thrown by the people around. Annie saw many prominent faces in the social and political circles in the country that fill the newspapers and tabloid everyday and felt little nervous. They congratulated themselves for making a grand appearance like this for looking wonderful and felt justified in spending a considerable sum of money. Not bad...!

The welcome team took them to the main arrival hall.

"Well...I am sure you are aware of the laurels this ballet troupe has achieved all over the world. This troupe is about 10 years old and has visited almost every country in the world. This was started by a couple and now their grand children are running the show and all of themjust breath ballet.
The story they are going to play here is of the White Swan in the blue lake, a love story.
We began the preparation for this unique event 2 months ago and the machinery took a month to install.
Well....you can imagine the technical side of it. Almost 300 artists are going to entertain you displaying a wonderful performance laced with all sorts of modern wonders of light and sound.

The man's speech was impressive with occasional inputs from the hostesses.

To be continued...
