Walnut Vegetable Salad



This is very simple and easy to prepare. A great salad, very good for health!

Ingredients

Walnuts - 7 numbers
Extra Virgin Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Green lettuce leaves - 3 numbers
Red tomatoes - 2 numbers
Salt - according to taste
or
Lemon - one half
Black or white pepper powder - according to taste

Preparation Time - 10-15 minutes

Serves - Two people

Utensils Required

Chopping board
Kitchen knife
Salad bowl
Spoon

Preparation
  • Chop the cleaned and preferably water soaked walnuts into small pieces.
  • Clean the lettuce leaves in running water and chop it finely.
  • Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Mix all of the above in a salad bowl with olive oil and salt. Squeeze half lemon instead of salt if you want to avoid salt altogether. Some like salt and lemon together, well it’s your choice. I use salt only.
  • Sprinkle pepper according to your liking.

    OK…..the salad is ready…..Enjoy it fresh…..
